To become a trusted faith-based resource and support network where individuals struggling with addictions, and those affected by it, can find hope, healing, and sustainable recovery, while empowering communities to prevent addiction through awareness and education.
Our founder
Dr Mmamajoro Phalatsi-Shilubana
Founder
Dr Mmamajoro Phalatsi-Shilubana is the Director and Founder of Sycamore Tree Lane. She is an ordained Pastor and an experienced Counsellor and Relational Coach. She holds a Masters degree in Education. She further holds a DPhil degree in Practical Theology from the University of South Africa. Her thesis “Care and Support to sex addicts in the Evangelical Pentecostal Church – A Practical Theological Investigation of sex addiction in Gauteng” sought to define what the understanding is of sexual addiction within the faith community, and elaborated on the interventions available.
She is passionate about relational wholeness, and the restoration of those struggling with different kinds of addictions; and specifically, sexual addiction, and support to those affected by the behavior.
